We Give A Chuck

Not What Your Normal Fans Would Do

Banner by the fabulous WGAC Girls

Most of you remember that almost two years ago, Wendy Farrington helped organize the Finale and a Footlong campaign that put Chuck fans on the map. Subway, one of Chuck’s sponsors, loved it and so did the studio execs.

Almost two weeks ago, Amy told us about the folks at WeGiveAChuck and their twitter campaign, #NotANielsenFamily.

You may not be aware, but several of the shows sponsors have already told the people at WGAC that they’ve been blown away by the fan’s response. It’s been quite remarkable.

Well, today, Wendy tells us that a new phase is underway and she has a special request for the readers of ChuckThis!.

Really! Wendy put it this way:

I was wondering if ChuckThisBlog had seen the Twitter campaign being run by the dedicated fans over at WeGiveAChuck (WGAC) and I was hoping you might be willing to help with spreading the word on the latest addition to their #NotANielsenFamily campaign?

The new part of their campaign involves an awesome, collaborative promotional partnership with SuperShuttle (who recently did some integrated product placement). CHUCK fans and their friends/family, who book with SuperShuttle between now and the end of July will get a 10% discount by using a special online code: CHUCK. This is a great way for fans to show real value to the sponsors and it gives non-Twitter fans an opportunity to participate as well. So please help us in asking fellow CHUCK fans to spread the word (FB, LJ, Blogs, etc) and to support a key sponsor while saving a few dollars…and just maybe, Saving Chuck too!

Of course, if you do twitter, you can thank them and be part of the campaign by tweeting them @SuperShuttle. You can also get more details by clicking on this link.

The discount is good at all SuperShuttle location through July 31st, which means you can use it if you plan to attend the San Diego Comic-Con. if you take the time to click the link you’ll find that it’s their way of responding to us for supporting them for supporting Chuck.

Nice how that works, huh? And you bet this is NOT what your normal company would do for normal fans. This is, indeed, something special.

If you have questions or comments for the folks at WGAC, they can be reached at WeGiveAChuck@Yahoo.com.

If you just got an email about a new thread, that’s sports related, sorry! Published on the wrong blog…operator fail. 😀

And it happened at just about the time Kaley Cuoco (Penny from TBBT) tweeted about the Lakers too.

Freaked me out for a second. 😉

  4. Rick Holy says:

Is it the Monday of the Season 4 finale that NBC makes “the announcement?” If so, it’s either going to be a joyful finale, knowing there’s more to come – or a bittersweet one, knowing that, as Porky Pig would say, “That’s all folks!” Hopefully, there will be none of the “forbidden meat” (Jeff or Lester’s terminology, I can’t remember) anywhere in sight on that Monday night! 🙂

    • ArmySFC says:

we may know before that. the last couple years the announcement has “leaked” the weekend before. we may well know by next Sunday.

    • Crumby says:

NBC upfronts are Monday 16 morning, so we’ll know before watching the Finale yes.
