Chuck-aholics Give Back

Our good friends at WeGiveAChuck (#notanielsenfamily fame) has a new challenge for all of us. For Chuck’s January 27th anniversary (anniversary of the finale), they are asking all of us to take part in giving back to our communities in Chuck’s name. No task too big or small, no amount of charity forgettable and no good deed goes unnoticed. Participate in a toy drive, or walk an old lady across the street! Take a photo (highest resolution jpeg please!), or video if applicable*. Tweet or email your good deed to @wegiveachuck (or @chuckthisblog and we will send it to them) and they will create a loving, tribute video sure to make Zachary Levi cry (again) at an airport.

Some nitty gritty, for the “Chuck Gives Back Video,” if you choose to join–be sure to include:
-your first name
-twitter handle (if you have one)
-state (for US fans) or country (for INTL fans).

For more details, visit WeGiveAChuck. Deadline is Jan. 17.

*be sure to protect your own privacy and the privacy of others. Don’t take a photo of your check to redcross for example without blacking out your bank information. Also please don’t take/publish photos of people who would rather remain anonymous, i.e. homeless.

About Faith

Eternally faith-ful at least as it relates to my beloved Los Angeles Lakers. Yes that's where the username comes from. Other than that self-professed Chuckaholic, Laker blogger and part time internet addict. Ok, full time.

    What a great idea, Faith!
We all have a little time to think on this, so take a moment, consider what you might do, do it and then let others know.
They too might get inspired! And remember, the best good deeds are anonymous.

  2. If you are looking for a good Chuck-themed charity, try making up for the Burtons’ annual Christmas con job by giving to the Salvation Army.

(Yes, I’m watching Chuck vs Santa Claus right now.)

Thanks for the post guys! Hope you’re all able to join in the project. It should be pretty fun and hopefully rewarding. We’re already starting the video and we’d love to to include as many fans as possible. It’s so much fun to see what Chuck fans can do when they band together! 🙂

One of the things that made me decide I was going to be a pilot was flying down to Baja Mexico with my dad who was a Flying Samaritan, along with the terrific surgeon who did my cleft palate surgery shortly after I was born. So you can probably guess…

    Smile Train
    Flying Samaritans

Hi Angus! Wow, that’s awesome! Please email us at WGAC if you’d like to participate in the video! 🙂 We’d like to include as many fans as possible. Thanks!
