Friday Fun: More Chuck Trivia

Chuck's breakin' out his "thinkin' juice" for the next trivia challenge.

Chuck is breakin’ out his “thinkin’ juice” for the next trivia challenge.

Well it has been a while since the last quiz, and I wouldn’t want readers to get rusty with their Chuck knowledge, so just to keep us all sharp here’s the next round of the ongoing Chuck trivia quiz series.  Join me after the jump for the quiz.

You know the drill kids, go here if you have issues with the inline quiz below, and check back in a few days for the answers.

About Ernie Davis

I was born in 1998, the illegitimate brain child and pen name of a surly and reclusive misanthrope with a penchant for anonymity. My offline alter ego is a convicted bibliophile and causes rampant pognophobia whenever he goes out in public. He wants to be James Lileks when he grows up or Dave Barry if he doesn’t.  His hobbies are mopery, curling and watching and writing about Chuck.  Obsessively.  Really, the dude needs serious help.

    Fun Ernie. Thanks.

  2. Ernie Davis says:

Sorry folks I forgot to check the “show results” box. That is fixed now.

  3. joe says:

Arg! I would have had 2 more of ’em right, but I second guessed myself!

  4. timtim081 says:

cheers for putting this together 🙂

  5. hiswings2 says:

I disagree with this poll, Casey used a microwave by tossing it at a bad guy in one of the episodes, can’t remember which one, but I’m pretty sure a microwave was used.

    • atcDave says:

      But that wasn’t Chuck.

    • joe says:

I almost answered that way too, Hiswings. But the question did say “by Chuck.” And remembering that it was Casey who through the thing was sorta easy because of the awful gag line that followed – “Now that’s what I call moving merchandise!” 😉

  6. noblz says:

Didn’t Chuck put something in a microwave to blow up as a diversion? I thought so.

    Also, ernie, you misspelled Budapest.

  7. resaw says:

78%. If this was too easy, it was still hard enough for me. Thanks for this, Ernie. Got the tattoo wrong (should’ve remembered Chuck vs Bo!) and the episode in which Casey was thought to be dispensing vigilante justice.

  8. Wilf says:

5 correct. Not bad. Thank you, Ernie, for keeping it going. Just didn’t remember who had the tattoo. And as for halitosis, didn’t Chuck try to test his own breath before one or other of his dates, suggesting that maybe he thought he had it?

  9. Ernie Davis says:

Well I guess it wasn’t too easy after all. I suspected it might be because the first 5 scores nobody missed more than 2.

Glad everyone seems to enjoy these. This is the 7th I’ve done and believe me it is getting harder and harder to come up with original questions, so if anyone has a trivia question feel free to e-mail me at erniedavis at verizon dot net.

  10. Ernie Davis says:

    Answer time.

Chuck was on the CIA recruitment list at Stanford. What was the name of the project the CIA wanted Chuck for?

As 83% of you got right, the Omaha project

Before Chuck’s alter ego Carmichael became a spy, what did Chuck envision him doing?

In Chuck Versus The Tango, where Carmichael is introduced, Chuck mentions racing in the America’s cup.

Of all the enemy spies who die at the hands of team B who is credited as Chuck’s first kill?

As the vast majority (88%) of you know it is “Uncle” Bernie

In which episode does Chuck speculate (entirely plausibly) that Casey is roaming the streets dispensing vigilante justice?

Chuck and Sarah speculate on their dearth of missions and what Casey does to pass the time in A-Team

From the pilot on Chuck has often improvised to defuse a bomb or a situation. Which of the following has not been used by Chuck on a mission?

    Pocket protector in Muuurder

    Guitar in Pink Slip

His phone in Push Mix (and others)

    A Delorean in, well Delorean

    Fireworks in Sizzling Shrimp

A Porn Virus in the pilot and series finale

    Laughing gas in Broken Heart

    But no microwave

Sizzling Shrimp features prominently in several missions. From what restaurant used as a triad front does it come?

Ben Lo Pan’s front is the Bamboo Dragon

One of the following is revealed to have a tattoo. Who is it?

Morgan Guillermo Grimes has “Don’t trust Bo Derreck” tattooed inside his lip

For a spy Chuck suffers from a lot of infirmities. All of the following are mentioned as things Chuck suffers from, except…

Halatosis is never explicitly mentioned, but all the others are.

    • ChuckFanForever says:

100% for me on the first try! What do you expect from a Chuck Fan Forever though? Although I admit I had to guess on the last one. I don’t recall any of the episodes where Chuck mentions he suffers from any of those actually. I thought you would have put “Spastic Colon” as one of the choices. 😉

  11. garnetflintIt is possibly says:

It is an aside I suppose, but when a shirtless Morgan carries Anna out of the BuyMore a la “An Officer and a Gentleman” You can see twhat appears to be a covering up of JG’s tattoo on his chest. So it is still Morgan with a tat, but earlier than season 5.

    • Ernie Davis says:

Yes, Josh Gomez is the only cast member with a tattoo in both real life and the show as far as I know. I don’t think any of the main cast has a tattoo in real life either. Mini Anden has a cross on her left forearm that you can see in several shots, and Dave Batista clearly has some serious ink, but I can’t think of anyone in the main cast other than JG.
