Sarah Lancaster is co-staring alongside Iron Man himself in a new movie.

So just last night I watched Sarah’s latest Hallmark movie, “Finding Mr. Right”. She seems willing to pad out her resume with this stuff. If you’re interested in something sweet, but in no way challenging, its a good fit.
Sarah is of course charming and easy to watch. And its fun to see her get more than 10 minutes of material.

I’d be willing to bet that having a toddler at home has something to do with her choice of roles recently.

Oh yeah, no doubt. Hallmark movies are obviously done fast and cheap, which likely means only a couple weeks work at a time. So each project is a small commitment. And I think Sarah Lancaster has exactly the right demeanor for this sort of project. She exudes pleasant, sweet, likable; which presumably makes her someone Hallmark is happy to work with. Sort of like Andie McDowell who currently has a series on the network.

Funny thing too; during the movie they ran a promo for a movie Ryan McPartlin did for Hallmark last year. I am impressed if anyone Hallmark Channel actually knew that some viewers watching a movie for Sarah Lancaster might want to see Ryan for exactly the same reasons.

Hey, if Hallmark channel wants to do a Chuck spinoff for the Awesomes I’d watch.

I always got the feeling that a lot of the industry saw Chuck as punching above it’s weight with it’s audiences engagement and understood the value of that.

The Awesomes in Chicago! You know I’d watch that.

Sarah Lancaster is coming back to TV with a new recurring role in Witches of East End. Via

As she tweeted “This ain’t Ellie Bartowski”
